What We Do

High School Program

Career EdVantage is proud to partner with twelve school districts in Southwest Iowa, AHSTW, Riverside, Tri-Center, Shenandoah, East Mills, Lewis Central, Glenwood, Underwood, Treynor, Missouri Valley, Logan-Magnolia, and Harlan. Through these partnerships, Career EdVantage High School Coaches are embedded in the high school buildings, providing students with opportunities to explore a wide range of high-demand career fields, gain valuable real-world experience, and develop the education and skills necessary to pursue their chosen career path. Additionally, Career EdVantage is able to collaborate with school staff and administrators to move the needle on work-based learning initiatives.

The Career EdVantage model is designed to help students establish a strong foundation during high school and continue building upon it beyond graduation, ensuring they are well-prepared for successful careers with local businesses that are eager to retain homegrown talent within Southwest Iowa communities.
